A Note from Brian Jon Garvey
Some of life’s most beautiful moments begin with a child curled up beside someone they love and the words, “Once upon a time…”
I created Animagine to bring a little more wonder to those moments.
My dream was to create something between a traditional storybook and a movie—a place where illustrations come alive while parents and grandparents tell the story in their own familiar voices. Imagine reading about an enchanted forest as fireflies begin to dance across the page, or whispering about a distant kingdom as its castle windows glow beneath the stars.
The pictures bring the magic into motion. Your voice gives the story its heart.
To a child, a story carries so much more than an adventure. It carries the sound of your laughter, the funny voices you give the characters, and the comfort of being close to you. There is room to pause, ask a question, share a giggle, or read a favorite passage one more time.
That is the feeling I want Animagine to hold onto.
My hope is that it helps families discover wonderful stories and make memories together—moments children will treasure long after they’ve grown tall enough to read every word themselves.
Thank you for being part of this dream. Let’s open a book and let the magic begin.
With love and imagination,
Brian John Garvey
